Our providers at WorkPartners Occupational Health in Grand Junction, Colorado are highly trained medical professionals specializing in the treatment of workers’ compensation injuries.
Our doctors are all Level II-accredited for the state of Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation, allowing them to perform impairment ratings according to the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 3rd Edition. Our physician assistants are Level I providers. They include:
Dr. Lori Fay earned her degree in osteopathic medicine from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, in 2002. She is a board-certified family medicine physician who specializes in musculoskeletal and occupational injuries.
Dr. Fay is a Level II-accredited physician through Colorado’s Division of Workers’ Compensation. She is also a U.S. Department of Labor Qualified Physician who can perform 5th Edition DEEOIC impairments.
Dr. Craig Gustafson received his medical degree from the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock in 2001. He is a Level II-accredited physician through Colorado’s Division of Workers’ Compensation with more than 15 years of occupational medicine experience.
Dr. Laurie Marbas is a board-certified family medicine physician who specializes in occupational medicine, as well as health and wellness with an emphasis on nutrition. She graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, receiving her MD and MBA at the same time.
Dr. Marbas has served her country as a U.S. Air Force officer. Her professional experience includes patient care in Colorado, Texas, Virginia, the Middle East, and South America when deployed with the USAF. She is married with three children.
Dr. Marbas is a Level II-accredited physician through Colorado’s Division of Workers’ Compensation. She is also a U.S. Department of Labor Qualified Physician who can perform 5th Edition DEEOIC impairments.
Erica earned her master’s degree at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, and has practiced as a physician assistant in many different areas of medicine. Her background in orthopedics, pain management, and urgent care have given her a strong foundation for occupational medicine. Erica is nationally certified to perform DOT physical exams through the FMCSA and NRCME.
She has more than 12 years of occupational medicine experience. Erica is a Level I provider for the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation and has audited the Level II class.
Dan graduated from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. He has a skilled background in spine and pain management, workers’ compensation treatment plans, minor surgeries, wound management, orthopedic injuries, and preventive health care. Dan is the director of clinical education for the Physician Assistant Program at Colorado Mesa University. Dan is nationally certified to perform DOT physical exams through the FMCSA and NRCME. He is also a Level I provider for the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation.
